American Scientific Research Journal of Engineering Technology and Science publishes a research paper from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kufa

 The Journal of American Scientific Research for Engineering, Technology, and Science published a paper entitled "Dental prostheses using rapid prototypes" for a teacher of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kufa.

The dental teacher at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kufa, Raja Mahdi Al-Mousawi, said that dental prostheses are of two types, both fixed and mobile. Both types are one of the areas of dental prostheses that focus on dental structures such as crowns and bridges. The dental prostheses are specialized dentists who have undergone the training recognized by Academic institutions in this field. Rapid Prototyping is a set of techniques that are used to create or assemble a physical part model using a 3-D template. 3D printing or "super-fast" is used to collect data using computer-assisted scanning.The technology was initially created for the manufacture of prototypes for industrial purposes. This technology has been founded at first to manufacture the prototypes for industrial aims and this industry encouraged formation and generation of large quantities of parts with high accuracy in manufacturing in the past two decades. This technology has been used efficiently in the medical field, methods and uses in technology regarding the dental industry, Al-Moussawi added.
