A Lecture in the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Kufa entitled (Smoking and its effects on the environment)

The Basic Sciences Branch of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Kufa held a lecture entitled “Smoking and its effects on the environment” at the Ather AlSkuni Hall in the College.

The lecturer.Luma Hafedh explained that the smoking is the first gate to enter the addiction as well as the side effects of smoking on pregnant women and the reproductive health of men. The lecturer also addressed the importance of the negative social and economic effects resulting from it in conjunction With the importance of health and psychological aspects. At the end of the seminar, the lecturer, Wourood Kream,  spoke about the importance of keeping pace with the world in its steps towards reducing smoking  and she stated examples of Arab and foreign countries established  centers for rehabilitation and, treatment and assistance the smokers, and she stressed the need to establish such centers and help those wishing to quit smoking and she added that smoking effects on the heart, lungs and blood vessels and its effects on the environment, adding that smoking is usually infamous and useless and leads only to the slow death of smokers.
